AAU Campus Street Snaps #5
Attending a school such as the Academy of Art University, street style can be found everywhere. It’s impossible to go anywhere without running into students with eclectic street style, each catering to their own personalities and creative attitudes towards what they wear. In continuing with our weekly AAU Campus Street Snaps, I found that I didn’t have to go far to find some fashionable students willing to share with me their style and where their clothes could be found.

Review: Laura lives in my building and she is the epitome of what I consider to be street style. This ensemble is a combination of pieces that she loved and placed together in her own accord. Her rings are a collection from her past which personalizes her look. I absolutely adore how she plays with florals and the pastel color of the corset pops. The choice of a gray jacket was important as well in that a black one would’ve simply washed out the rest of her outfit. Also, if you notice the florals in the dress compliment her hair color as well.

Review: Jamal shows that eve just one item can make street style fun! Wearing black in the cape and shirt with dark colored jeans allow his undershirt and especially his shoes to pop. Simple yet still fun for a day at class, Jamal displays how to have simple style through a piece such as his black cape. It’s also important to note that the interior of the cape had a spotted lining to die for. Once observed even closer details made all the difference with Jamal’s ensemble, from the eclectic designs on his shoes to the lining in his cape.
