We are a diverse group of individuals who strive to create a mutual place where we are all free to state our opinions in our writing. Our goal is to improve our writing abilities and mastery of language. We desire to share our own personal interests with you, the audience. Fashion is an expression of self, from our lives, our personalities, it is our passion.

Hello! I am a graduate student here at Academy of Art University. I am also a former teacher - with nearly 10 years of experience. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I am new to San Francisco. In my writing I like to explore issues of race, gender, identity, and other social topics. I want to use my writing as a platform to discuss topics from various, diverse perspectives. My hobbies include reading, manga, anime, attending museum exhibitions, and exploring the city.

Konnichiwa! I am Japanese and I am studying Fashion Journalism at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I was born and raised in Tokyo, and speak Japanese (my first language) and English. I had an internship experience at ELLE Japan. I also have work experience as an assistant at Harper’s BAZAAR (Japan) before I moved to San Francisco. This is why I decided to pursue fashion writing. I love fashion, music, reading, watching movies, beaches and sunshine!

Hey! I am a graduate fashion journalism student at Academy of Art. I have exposed myself to fashion and advertising industry nearly 4 years, though my background is business management. I love surrealism art, old movie, and all kinds of music. I do writing, but also on my way being a creative and visual artist. You'll see some collage work that I created in my articles.

I have an undergraduate degree in English and Business Administration. I am pursuing a career in Fashion Public Relations and enjoy writing about the behind the scenes elements of the fashion industry and the components that keep the fashion field functioning. Outside of my love for writing and fashion, I enjoy the beach, eating out, sketching designs, and any anime that will make me cry.
